Landscape Workday/Earth Month Project at TNC office site, 1510 E Ft Lowell Rd, Tucson, Saturday, April 2, 7:30 – 11 a.m. Come help install the next phase of our pollinator garden that is being established at our Tucson office site. This section of the property is a special garden area that will attract a wide variety of pollinators and will be a beautiful peaceful site for staff and visitors to enjoy. The workday will include lining basins with rock, mulching the area, removing invasive plants from the grassland exhibition. In addition to establishing a place for visitors and staff to enjoy we are looking forward to witnessing development of this habitat as it benefits from the bees , butterflies, hummingbirds, etc. as they perform their work that is critical in the functioning of ecosystems.
