Cultivating Native Edible Landscapes

This class is for everyone with a desire to learn more about native edibles! In this presentation, folks will learn what “native edible” means ecologically, regionally, and culturally -  including a brief contextual history, a review of a variety of native edible species, basic design, planning considerations, and resources for incorporating them into your landscape.

This class provides general, introductory resources for identifying wild edibles and creating an edible landscape in your yard.

Cost: Hydrate classes are free, hands-on opportunities to learn from experts at our Living Lab and apply what you learn at your own home or community space. To eliminate access barriers to our educational offerings, we invite everyone to participate regardless of your ability to pay. If you have the means, please consider supporting our educational programming by making a donation so we can continue to reach as many folks as possible.
