The American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Center for Scientific Evidence in Public Issues (AAAS EPI Center), the U.S. EPA Office of Water (EPA OW), and the White House is hosting the next in a series of webinars that will feature speakers sharing their unique, regional experiences planning and implementing green infrastructure and nature-based solutions in the Southwest region. Additionally, speakers will share opportunities, challenges, barriers, and lessons learned from the design and planning to implementation to operations and maintenance of green infrastructure and nature-based solutions.

The expert panelists will share their unique, regional experiences planning and implementing green infrastructure and nature-based solutions in the Southwest region. Additionally, speakers will share opportunities, challenges, barriers, and lessons learned from the design and planning to implementation to operations and maintenance of green infrastructure and nature-based solutions. This 90-minute event is one in a series of regionally-based webinars, including the Chesapeake and Mid-Atlantic, the Gulf Coast and southeastern states, the Great Lakes, the arid Southwest, and the Pacific Northwest.

This virtual event will be recorded and is open to the public, as well as federal and state employees, municipal and county leadership, local water leaders, municipal and county agencies, local practitioners, and community advocacy groups and community members.
