When
The Arizona Cross-Watershed Network (AZ XWN), in partnership with the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP), is working to grow capacity and leverage federal funding to increase resilience in Arizona watersheds in the face of accelerating climate change impacts.
The 2024 AZ XWN Summit will be held virtually in two consecutive sessions: January 29th, 2-4pm and January 30th, 2-4pm. Please complete this registration form to receive the zoom links for the two-day Summit.
The Summit will focus primarily on scaling up riparian and aquatic restoration and conservation. We will build on our recent conversations with many of you about barriers to accessing unprecedented federal dollars from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act, strategies to address capacity challenges and fund/implement more projects, project priorities, and policy recommendations for future funding bills.
At the Summit, we will:
- Explore how current funding opportunities align with watershed priorities
- Facilitate peer learning and collaboration across watersheds
- Connect watershed efforts with organizations that help navigate funding
- Identify actionable next steps to build capacity and access project funding
Please reach out to Anna Murveit (anna@swdresources.com) with any questions, and don't forget to register here.
