Drone Day

When

8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., April 4, 2025

This is our 4th annual Drone Day!

Drone Day continues to be an opportunity to connect UAV (unoccupied aerial vehicle) users at University of Arizona and in the greater Tucson area. At this event we share knowledge and experiences with UAV equipment, logistics, data processing, training, and legal topics. We welcome all attendees who are using UAVs, or are interested in using them in a variety of contexts; this includes academic research, industry and trades, recreation, and more. We also welcome participation from users and researchers using other autonomous mobile sensors, such as agricultural robots!

This year we are moving to the Campus Agricultural Center (https://experimentstation.arizona.edu/campus-agricultural-center), which is an exciting new venue! There, we will enjoy a morning of talks and discussion, followed by lunch (which is provided to registered attendees) along with an optional training session, and ending in the afternoon with UAV show & tell and demonstrations. The morning talks are VIRTUAL-FRIENDLY, so feel free to register for the event and give a talk, or just watch along!
