The 2024 Annual Meeting of the Weed Science Society of America (WSSA) meeting jointly with the Southern Weed Science Society (SWSS)

We are thrilled to offer a joint WSSA/SWSS annual meeting to be held at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio in San Antonio, TX on January 22 to 25, 2024.
WSSA/SWSS members are invited to submit proposals for symposia at our annual meeting. The proposal deadline is June 12, 2023. Members of each board will evaluate the proposed symposia based on the justification, the target audience, publication plans, and the completeness of the proposal agenda and budget. Symposia organizers are strongly urged to consider publication of the symposium papers in one of the WSSA’s journals and publication will be one of the factors considered in selecting symposia for the meeting.
Please see the guidelines below for symposia funding from the WSSA. Requests for travel support can be made for non-members only.
Symposium proposals should be emailed directly to the WSSA President-Elect and Program Chair Gregory Dahl (gkdahl@landolakes.com) and copied to the SWSS President-Elect and Program Chair Todd Baughman (todd.baughman@okstate.edu)by June 12, 2023. You will receive an email confirmation that your proposal has been received. If you have any questions, feel free to email Greg and/or Todd.
