Class Description:

Engage in a sensory and place-based exploration of the Sonoran Desert. Let curiosity lead your creative investigation of the local habitat. Open your senses and experience the calming effects of the natural world. In this 3-hr introductory class, you will learn: keen observation skills, focused sensory attention and pattern recognition that lead to awareness, understanding and a deeper connection to the land. As we walk the land and learn about biodiversity, we will visually map our creative rivers; write a place-based poem, “I am from” and create a sound composition from the rich melodies heard in the desert landscape. All levels of experience welcome. Class Registration Fee: $50.  For more info visit: http://www.ecoartexpeditions.com/adult-classes.html
