Southwest Drought Learning Network 2023 meeting

Location: Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Meeting goal: Bring together resource managers, Southwest Drought Learning Network (DLN) members, Tribes, and others interested in drought to engage in peer-to-peer learning related to past drought experiences and lessons learned. 

Objectives

• Learn from resource managers about drought management experiences (both positive and negative) in preparing for or responding to drought;
• Enhance two way information-sharing and relationship building to better prepare for and respond to future drought; and 
• Revisit DLN team structures, engage in team development, and plan for the upcoming year.
